vivlin.com is a Nigerian Christian Singles Community based on Christian beliefs.

The Nigerian Christian Singles was founded to provide a forum for Nigerian Christians who are single, to interact. It is becoming increasingly difficult for Nigerian Christians who are not married to socialize without compromising the word of God. It has not been the culture of the Nigerian Christians to go night clubbing, binge drinking in Pubs and Wine bars. The Church itself has tried to address these needs and they have done well but I find the Christian Singles are gradually being left in a corner.

In conformity with the Nigerian Christian Singles Community mission, VIVLIN strongly believes the following:
The Scriptures:
We believe that "all Scripture is given by inspiration of God" (2 Timothy 3:16). We understand this to mean that the whole Bible is inspired, in that holy men of God "were moved by the Holy Spirit" (2 Peter 1:21) to write the very words of Scripture.

The Godhead:i.e
God the Father
God the Son
God the Holy Spirit

Creation:
We believe that man was created directly by and in the image of God. We believe that God created the heavens and the earth, including all life, by direct act. (Genesis 1:1; John 1:3; Colossians 1:16-17)))

Salvation:
We believe that salvation is the gift of God’s grace. It cannot be gained or made more secure by meritorious works, but is freely bestowed upon all who put their faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ at Calvary. All who so trust the Savior are forgiven of their sins and born into the family of God by the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit. (John 1:12; Acts 16:30-33; Romans 10:9-10; Ephesians 1:7; 2:8-9)

Atonement for Sins: We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a substitutionary sacrifice and that all who believe on Him are redeemed by His shed blood. We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord Jesus Christ and in His ascension into heaven; He is our High Priest and Advocate. (John 1:1-3, 14; 3:1-7; Hebrews 10:4-14; 1 John 2:2))

The Great Commission:
Until the return of Christ, it is the Christian’s duty and privilege to seek the fulfillment of Christ's Great Commission and to minister in His name to a needy world.(Matthew 25:31-46; 28:18-20)

The Christian Walk:
We believe that we have a holy calling to walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit, and so to live in the power of the indwelling Spirit in order that we will not fulfill the lust of the flesh. (Romans 6:11-13; 8:2, 4, 12-13; Galatians 5:16-23; Ephesians 4:22-24; Colossians 2:1-10; 1 Peter 1:14-16; 1 John 1:4-7; 3:5-9)

VIVLIN carries out its mission by providing a network for christians to fellowship with one another through Nigerian Christian Singles Community Members can create: groups, photo gallery, blog, and much more. All interested persons are welcome to bring their contribution to the development of this network.
